Taylor Elliot

Taylor Elliott currently works as a Distribution Engineer for Georgia Power. She graduated from The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Upon graduating she worked for Montrose Environmental Group as a Staff Engineer in the Air Permitting and Planning Department, specializing in Air Dispersion Modeling.


Taylor serves on multiple boards within Georgia Power, including co-chair of Atlanta Distribution Area Roundtable (“ADAR”) and member of Technical Women in Georgia (“TWIG”). Taylor has recently obtained her E.I.T. (Engineering in Training) certification by passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. Currently, Taylor is looking to obtain her Professional Engineers (“PE”) licensing.

Taylor was previously involved with Sozo Children, whose focus is providing for the basic needs of children in Kampala, Uganda so that they can meet their full potential.


Taylor served as a volunteer, participant in fundraising events, missionary trips (2013), and served as a summer mission intern (2017). Taylor is a long-standing sponsor of Sozo Children and their mission. She also served as a spokesperson and fundraising volunteer for The Wellhouse, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and helping victims of human trafficking around Birmingham, AL.


In 2015, while competing in, and subsequently winning the title of Miss Alabama Teen USA, Taylor championed the Wellhouse as her “cause”, using her platform to raise awareness for the victims of human trafficking. The same year Taylor placed top fifteen in Miss Teen USA.


Taylor is the oldest of five children. She takes the responsibilities of being a good role model to her younger siblings very seriously. She loves to run and plans to run a half marathon with one of her sisters this year. In addition to running, Taylor enjoys time with her dog, Knox, who is now three years old.
