Unique Individual Ranch is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable after-school care and a camp experience to children and young adults who have special needs. Our goal is to give each participant the opportunity to reach his or her full potential in a safe and supportive environment surrounded by well-trained staff who have a passion for working with this population. 

We provide small staff to participant ratios, behavior assistance, and bathroom assistance, if necessary. Our team focuses on:

• Individualized care tailored to a child’s specific needs.
• Creating opportunities for socialization to improve social skills and foster a sense of community and belonging.
• Providing a safe and secure environment where the staff-to-participant ratios are typically 1:4, and the well-being of participants is paramount.

About Me

With a longstanding passion for empowering individuals and fostering community cohesion, I embarked on a journey that began at the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff. Upon graduating, I returned to my hometown of Atlanta, driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference. Joining forces with a non-profit organization dedicated to youth development, I witnessed firsthand the underserved needs of the special needs community. Driven by the belief that every child deserves an environment that embraces their uniqueness and provides support, I founded Unique Individual Ranch in 2014. 

What initially started as an after-school initiative in Sandy Springs has blossomed into a comprehensive program, including school-break camps and recreational activities throughout the Atlanta Metropolitan area.

I am committed to nurturing the growth of this endeavor, enriching the lives of individuals with special needs, and fostering stronger bonds within their families and communities.
